Sunday 20th October
Come along to sing, come along to listen, bring your friends, bring a bottle. An open mic in the church hall, a chance for local musicians to perform.
I'm hoping for around 15 music slots on the night, depending on who turns up. Plan on two songs/pieces per act, but it might be worth having a third ready. PA, mics, and keyboard will be available (or even borrow a guitar if you don't bring your own).
Open mic tradition is live music rather than backing tracks (it's not a karaoke!) but open to negotiation!
It will take place in the church hall... there is no bar, but you are very welcome to bring drinks and snacks (if you can bring a glass too that saves us washing up!).
Join us for a candlelit procession of prayer on All Saints Day!
We will gather at 7.00pm outside our church and I will give you all a battery candle. (You're welcome to bring torches or other lights with you). We will say prayers and sing a hymn there, and then process with our candles into the centre of Yeadon and gather at the Town Hall steps for 7.30pm. We’ll then sing again and pray for the parish of Yeadon. We will also pray for our nation, as we may well have left the EU the day before.
Members of other churches in Yeadon are very welcome too!
Wednesday 6th November
1.00pm - 3.00pm
You are welcome to come along with your chosen craft (it doesn’t have to be knitting) and enjoy an afternoon of creativity, chat, cake and a cuppa.
We hope to see you there
(We are sorry but this event isn’t suitable for children)
